Thoughts About America On The Fourth Of July

The flag of the country I live in. It’s the flag of the UNITED States Of America. Even though we certainly aren’t united at this point in time, there is one thing that we all share in common-we are Americans.

My ancestors helped build this country. They helped contribute to the many great things this country offered the world through achievements in science, art, entertainment, political, moral leadership, business. athletics, music and literature.

We all are still trying to make it a more perfect union. I feel we shouldn’t stop trying simply because many of our current political leaders are terrible. The beauty of America is the power we have to replace them on a regular basis if needed-without bloodshed.

America is just as much my county as it is yours. Participate in the system to improve it. I certainly do.

The blueprint is The Constitution. The work that needs to be done to keep the county true to its ideals has to be done by its citizens.
